About the Cooking Classes
Demonstration Tastings or Lunches are for Special Group lunch bookings any weekday from 11am to approximately 1:30 pm. If hands-on participation is requested, the classes will take a little longer.
The cost of the Special Group Weekday Tastings is $500 with a maximum count of 16 people. If lunch is desired, add $30 per person.
All recipes embrace healthy aspects of the pyramid and are based as much as possible on seasonal produce and fruits (during certain months, we grow many vegetables and herbs at the farm and they can be included in the tastings/lunches). I strive to create dishes low in saturated fat, favoring olive oil over butter. Although I do enjoy butter too!
*The menus tend to focus on seafood, chicken, pork, nuts, whole grains, vegetables, and fruits, with the occasional menu including lamb. Please note that we mostly base our food themes on Mediterranean-style dishes. The philosophy of low fat does not apply to many of the featured desserts! Cakes are made with white or nut flour and butter. However, for vegan groups, the butter will be replaced with an acceptable vegan fat.
Registration can be made by phone or by email. Email is the quickest and preferred method for registration and confirmation.
